The bookmobile is decorated with the artwork of West Virginia artist and portrait painter Wendy Wassink. Wassink’s painting of a youngster reading a book about dinosaurs while a whimsical dinosaur created by the artist looks over her shoulder has been used by the American Library Association for campaigns in the past. The artist donated rights for the painting to the county library for its usage on the bookmobile.
