ice ice baby

Wintry weather over the past several days left area streams, waterfalls, and rivers coated with ice, including this spot near Charlton Heights along U.S. Route 60. School systems closed their doors on Monday, and several churches in the area were forced to cancel services Sunday because of icy and snow-covered roads. This week’s warming trend continues to melt ice and swell already high waterways.
