janet sutphin

Summerlee Presbyterian Church recently honored Janet Sutphin for her 40 years of service to the church. Janet has been the church’s pianist since Suzanne Bittinger, the church’s first treasurer, invited her to bless the church members with her beautiful music. Janet, at right, was presented a plaque in honor of her service by Sonny Berry, an elder of the church. Her family was also gathered for the presentation. Summerlee Presbyterian Church is located at the end of the White Oak Rail Trail and holds services each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Presently, Joel Davis is serving as the interim minister. Everyone is invited to worship with the congregation.
