OAK HILL — Residents of the East End should expect disruptions in their water service beginning on or about Oct. 13, according to West Virginia American Water officials.
The outages will continue for about a week. The planned service disruptions are a result of water line replacements and upgrades by WVAW. The work will affect from 200 to 300 homes and about 10 businesses.
The areas affected will be East Main Street from Martin Avenue to Dickinson Street, Highlawn Avenue and Roberts Avenue. Customers in these areas should expect service disruptions throughout the week.
The company apologizes for any inconvenience that its customers may experience, said company spokesman Sammy Gray.
