West Virginia Division of Highways announces the closure of the W.Va. 16 Pea Ridge exit ramp going south to U.S. 19, in Oak Hill, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
District Nine Maintenance Engineer James Moore said the roadway is expected to be closed to thru traffic from 6 a.m. Tuesday through 6 p.m. Wednesday to allow contract crews to mill and resurface the roadway. Detours will be in place, all traffic will be detoured onto Main Street Bridge Ramp at the intersections of W.Va. 16 and CR 18 during this scheduled time period.
Motorists are asked to observe all traffic control signs and devices and allow additional time for their commute or seek alternate routes.
The anticipated completion date for this project is June 12. However, be advised that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
