Vendors sought for Market Day

The next Market Day in Fayetteville is Sept. 7 from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Janutolo Park behind the Fayetteville Convention and Visitor Bureau on Court Street. Visitors can find local fresh foods and more at the Fayette County Farmers Market (held every Saturday May through October), shop the Artisans Village featuring local artists, and explore yard sales throughout the community. Yard sale fees will be waived by the town on Market Day. Live music by local musicians will be performed. Free coffee will be available on the porch of the Fayetteville CVB beginning at 7:30 a.m.

If you are interested in being an artisan vendor or listing your yard sale, call the Fayetteville CVB at 304-574-1500 or e-mail by 12 noon on the Friday before Market Day and register your booth or sale.

There is no artisan vendor fee, but only handmade, artist-produced crafts, jewelry, photography, stained glass, art, soaps, candles, textiles, needlework, illustrations, weaving, turned wood, calligraphy, collages, pottery, etc. will be accepted for the Artisan Village. No food, flea market, or mass produced items are permitted in the village. If you have a question about an item you wish to sell, please contact the Fayetteville CVB.

Check out the CVB at or on Facebook at!/visitfayettevillewv for everything going on in Fayetteville.
