Church briefs

Special Services — There will be special services on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Sun Full Gospel Church, Sun Mine Road, featuring Evangelist Steve Board. Rev. Joan Terry, pastor, invites everyone to attend. For more information, call 304-877-2241.

Special Service — There will be a special church service with Fayette County Deputy Sheriff Rob Legg singing and a special guest speaker at the Garten P.H. Church, Gatewood Road, Fayetteville, on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. All are welcome to come and enjoy a night of fellowship and anointed singing.

The EGG Project — Ames Heights Bible Church is breaking out The EGG Project (Exploring God’s Goodness) on Sunday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m. for those in grades 1 to 6. Come, bring a friend and unscramble the mysteries of God’s Word. For more information, call Suzie at 304-574-2131.

Wesleyan Church — Summerlee Presbyterian Church, the white church at the Summerlee end of Oak Hill’s White Oak Rail Trail, would like to invite everyone to ride their bikes or walk to church. Come as you are dressed for biking or hiking. Bottled water will be provided for your refreshment. Sunday services begin at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

First Presbyterian Church, Oak Hill — Regular services of the First Presbyterian Church of Oak Hill, located at 250 Central Avenue, are Sunday school at 9:45 a.m., followed by morning worship at 11 a.m. Special activities include the following: youth group, 5:30 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month; handbell choir, Mondays at 5:45 p.m.; chancel choir, each Monday at 7 p.m.; and Women’s Circle meeting, 12:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.
