Boil water advisories lifted

— A boil water advisory issued for the City of Mount Hope water system due to a main line break has been lifted.

The boil advisory issued for the Danese Public Service District because of a main line break between the plant and the main booster station also has been lifted.

Under a boil water advisory, consumers are advised to bring all water to a full rolling boil, let it boil for one minute and let cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
