Car club announces Fall Fling winners

— The year 2012 has been a challenging one for the Throttle Throbs Car Club. The Independence Day show had to be canceled due to the storm, and the Fall Fling show was affected by inclement weather. Despite these problems, the club managed to raise enough money to award once again four scholarships in May. Any Greenbrier graduating senior from Greenbrier East or Greenbrier West may obtain a scholarship application from their guidance counselor or by calling club president Ron Ness at 304-645-5055.

Roscoe Smith of Covington received the Colonial Ford Best Ford trophy at the Fall Fling Festival. He had a 1995 F150 truck.

Tim Stover of Lewisburg received the Bill Lewis Best GM trophy. He had a 1993 Camaro Z-28.

Charles Harris of Quinwood received the Greenbrier Motors Best MOPAR trophy. He had a 1972 Plymouth Duster.

The Throttle Throbs Car Club thanks all who participated by entering their automobiles, sponsored trophies or made donations, attended as spectators and, as always, our loyal and dedicated club members.
