— The Mount Hope Lions Club and American Legion Post #149 joined forces to aid veterans at the VA Hospital in Beckley. Volunteers from the two group volunteered Saturday, March 30, to play Bingo with the veterans who are hospitalized there. Pizza, cookies, Easter candy, and drinks were provided. Everyone who participated won a prize and no one went home empty-handed.
