MORGANTOWN —
Two Fayette County residents were awarded Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degrees from the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy.
Dr. Stephanie Arrington of Oak Hill is the daughter of James and Tammy Arrington. She is a graduate of Oak Hill High School. While studying at the WVU School of Pharmacy, Arrington was a member of the WVU chapter of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA). She was a recipient of the Promise scholarship, the Oak Hill High School Alumni Scholarship, the Oak Hill United Methodist Church Scholarship and the Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation Scholarship. She also achieved Dean’s List honors. The Dean’s List recognizes those who achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Arrington will be employed in community pharmacy practice in Oak Hill.
Dr. Brianna Darrow of Fayetteville is the daughter of John and Christina Darrow. She is a graduate of Midland Trail High School. While studying at the WVU School of Pharmacy, Darrow was a member of the American Society of Health-system Pharmacists-Student Society of Health-system Pharmacists. A cum laude graduate,she received the Fruth Scholarship, the Promise Scholarship, the Mountaineer Scholarship and received Dean’s List honors. The Dean’s List recognizes those who achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
