Boil water advisory lifted

— West Virginia American Water has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory for customers in Lookout, Lansing, Edmond, Ame Heights and Winona in Fayette County. The advisory was issued after a series of water main breaks drained water storage tanks.  Customers will be notified of the lifting of the advisory via media.

Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards. Therefore, there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption.
