Frontier announces broadband improvements

Residents and businesses in the Cunard area now have access to leading-edge communications services through Frontier Communications.

“Frontier has invested heavily in its broadband network in Fayette County, and residents and businesses in the Cunard area now have the opportunity to acquire the level of services they need,” said Mike Swatts, general manager for Frontier.

Swatts said Frontier can provide access to service of up to 25 megabits per second (Mbps) through Frontier’s Broadband Ultra and Ultimate services to residents. Businesses may have access to service of up to 40 Mbps download and up to 5 Mbps upload -- a level that supports video security and the transfer of large files. Frontier also offers speeds up to 1 Gigabit through its Ethernet platform.

Swatts noted that Frontier is offering the best value in the market. He encouraged residents to call 800-921-8101 toll-free for information about service options. Residential customers ordering Frontier broadband for the first time can start at a set rate per month with a qualifying phone service, he said. The no-contract offer provides a three-year price guarantee for broadband services.

Swatts said business owners and managers can call 877-501-5661 toll-free for information about acquiring business-class speeds and Frontier’s per month broadband promotion for business.
