Police search for suspect in Oak Hill Dollar General robbery on Sunday

— A Dollar General store in Fayette County was robbed Sunday night, according to West Virginia State Police Trooper C.L. Mollohan of the Oak Hill detachment.

According to Mollohan, Oak Hill Police and State Police were alerted around 11 p.m. Sunday night that the Dollar General Store on Jones Avenue in Oak Hill had been robbed.

Mollohan said the suspect — described by the clerk as a white male around 6 feet tall with sandy-colored hair — didn’t have a weapon, but grabbed money out of the cash register drawer and fled.

He was dressed in an orange shirt and blue jeans at the time.

Oak Hill Officer James Pack is heading the investigation.
