OAK HILL —
Maverick Transportation recently presented driver Gary Lipscomb of Oak Hill with his 2 Million Mile Safe Driving Award. Lipscomb has been with Maverick for over 18 years and has earned numerous other safety accolades, including 5 Year Safety Award, Million Mile Award, and 10 Year Safety Award.
The award is given to a select group of drivers who have driven 2 million or more accident-free miles while with the Arkansas-based flatbed carrier. As a recipient of this award, Lipscomb was presented with a customized plaque, 2 Million Mile shirts, and a truck decal for his outstanding safety efforts. His individual plaque is also displayed inside Maverick’s headquarters on their newly appointed Million-Mile Club Wall of Fame.
“This is the type of award that only the most professional, safest drivers receive. It is truly an honor to have a driver like Gary Lipscomb to acknowledge,” said Vice President of Safety Dean Newell.
Based in Little Rock and operating 1,400 units, Maverick has 32 years of experience serving the flatbed, specialized, dry van, and temperature-controlled transportation markets throughout North America. To learn more, visit the company’s website at www.maverickusa.com.
