Oak Hill Tractor Supply Company recognized for support of 4-H

OAK HILL — The Oak Hill Tractor Supply Company (TSC) store was recently recognized for winning the Paper Clover “District Champion” award for being the store with the highest transaction percentage in the district during the 4-H/TSC Spring and Fall 2012 Paper Clover Promotions. Store employees at the Oak Hill TSC store had 27 percent of all transactions include a 4-H Paper Clover purchase in the fall promotion and were presented with a certificate and ribbon from 4-H to recognize this achievement.

The Oak Hill store also received the Class Champion Award for both promotions for exceeding company goals for the campaign.

The 4-H/TSC Paper Clover Campaign is a nationwide, in-store fundraiser that benefits 4-H programming in the communities where a TSC store is located. The 4-H Paper Clover Campaign provides the opportunity for shoppers to purchase paper clovers for $1 when they check out at the register. The fall campaign raised over $498,000 that supports 4-H on the local, state, and national level.

“In the short time that Tractor Supply Company has been located in our community they have shown a tremendous amount of support for our 4-H youth programs in Fayette County,” said Andrea Mender, 4-H Youth Development Extension agent in Fayette County.

“Through the Fall Paper Clover Promotion alone they were able to raise $270 to help our growing program. This really is an award for all of the employees at Tractor Supply Company who promote the program and for the people of Fayette County who come out to the store and make just a small $1 donation for the youth of our area.”

The next 4-H Paper Clover Campaign will be May 8-19.
