Marietta College’s Connie Callison of Meadow Bridge has been named the Halliburton Scholar for the 2012-13 academic year. The scholarship is valued at $5,000.
Callison is a 2011 graduate of Meadow Bridge High School and is majoring in petroleum engineering.
Located in Marietta, Ohio, at the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio rivers, Marietta College is a four-year liberal arts college. Tracing its roots to the Muskingum Academy begun in 1797, the college was officially chartered in 1835.
