Officers make Central Avenue bust

OAK HILL — Drug officers arrested three Oak Hill residents Monday following a search of a Central Avenue home.

Eric Wayne England, 39; Peggy Lee Black, 33; and Matthew Quinton Simpson, 25, were taken into custody after an undercover officer with the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force allegedly purchased prescription Roxycodone pills at the Central Avenue home where Black and Simpson were living, police said Monday.

The Oak Hill Police Department, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and West Virginia State Police searched the house and uncovered a large amount of marijuana and Roxycodone, along with over $2,500 in cash.

Each of the suspects was each charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession with intent to deliver Roxycodone and conspiracy to commit a felony.

England and Simpson were also charged with delivery of a controlled substance. All three were at Southern Regional Jail Tuesday.
