Fayette County Assessor Eddie Young has released a schedule of community visits by representatives of his office. Employees of the assessor’s office will travel around the county to take applications for Homestead Exemption, collect dog taxes, fill out assessment sheets, or to just answer the questions of county residents.
Young urges Fayette County residents to take advantage of the following local visits:
* July 6 — Oak Hill City Hall, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.;
* July 7 — Pax Town Hall, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.;
* July 7 — Mt. Hope Town Hall, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.;
* July 8 — Ansted Town Hall, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.;
* July 8 — Gauley Bridge Town Hall, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.;
* July 9 — Smithers Town Hall, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.;
* July 10 — Meadow Bridge Town Hall, 8:30 to 11 a.m.; and
* July 10 — Montgomery City Hall, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
