Ernie Eades, administrator of Braxton Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, retired effective July 31.
Eades, a Fayette County native, will be replaced in the facility’s top position by Bill Kuhn, the current assistant administrator, also a Fayette County native.
“During Ernie’s leadership, this facility has earned a ‘Four Star Rating as Rated by CMS,’” said Gene Alfonsi, the center’s owner.
“I have enjoyed my tenure at BHCRC,” Eades said. “The facility has a great staff providing optimum care for each resident and BHCRC is the best facility in the state.”
Eades added that he is “looking forward to the challenges and adventures that retirement will provide.”
Kuhn, who has worked at BHCRC since 2007, assumed his new duties as administrator on Aug. 1.
He is a member of the Braxton County Rotary, currently serving as vice president, and is the co-chairman of the Braxton County LEPC.
“I am looking forward to a smooth transition of leadership and continued quality care of the residents provided by the great staff employed at our facility,” Kuhn said.
