Food drive under way at Maurice’s

FAYETTEVILLE — Through Nov. 30, Maurice’s at Fayette Town Center, 104 Town Center Road, is holding a food drive to benefit Hand and Hand Mission.

“While we participate in a number of Maurice’s-sponsored benefits throughout the year, we are especially proud when we have the opportunity to support causes right here at home,” says Rachel Hayhurst, store manager.

The food drive continues through Friday, Nov. 30. Customers can drop off their non-perishable donations any time during store hours, which are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

For each donation, donors will receive a coupon for 20 percent off any one regular-priced item in the store.

“This drive is just one way we can express how grateful we are to be a part of this community,” says Hayhurst. “We invite customers to be part of this effort and look forward to giving them a special deal on an item from Maurice’s in return.”
