The Southern Appalachian Labor School will host a second public meeting at the Historic Oak Hill School Friday, July 27, at 10 a.m. in the conference room. This is an informal chat to discuss the purpose of the facility as it transitions to a community center.
SALS is interested in having its Historic Oak Hill School to serve as a community center and seeks to have feedback from the residents of Oak Hill and Fayette County. SALS wants to have representatives from residents, business owners, local officials and organization leaders and looks forward to working with the public to make this a positive step for our community.
The meeting will be held at 140 School Street in Oak Hill. If you need further information, please contact Erica at 304-465-4246 or 304-712-5798 (cell).
This discussion is occurring as part of a special Flex-E-Grant program from the West Virginia Developmental Office.
