Calling all dreamers

Oak Hill Public Library held the kick-off to its summer reading program, “Dream Big — Read” on June 14 at the library. Over 80 children enjoyed sidewalk chalk drawing, stories, freeze pops and each received a free book. The children participating in the summer reading program will explore the night this summer. Activities may include programs on stargazing and moon lore, dreams and wishes, space exploration, nocturnal animals, and more. The program is open to children ages 3-12, with programs, prize drawings, story hours, a reading club, and more. For more information, call the library at 304-469-9890 or visit the website at http://fayette.lib.wv.us. All branches of Fayette County Public Libraries are participating in the program, which is free of charge. Please contact your local branch library for information on their program.
