-- Public Hearing — A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 4, at Oak Hill High School at 6 p.m. for concerned citizens regarding the proposed renewal of permits for injection wells located in Lochgelly.

-- Fayette County Board of Health — The Fayette County Board of Health will meet Thursday, May 23 at 4 p.m. at the Fayette County Health Department.

-- Caregiver Support Group — A Caregiver Support Group meeting and training entitled “Advanced Directives” will be held on Monday, May 20, at 12 noon at the Fayette Senior Center, 108 Lewis Street, Oak Hill. Medical Power of Attorney and a Living Will will be covered. Please bring names, addresses and phone numbers of people you would want to appoint. Forms and a notary will be available. -- Oak Hill Area Schools — As Fayette County Schools continue the process of improving school facilities, Superintendent Butcher has asked that meetings be held at each school to receive community input. On Monday, May 13, at 6 p.m., a community meeting will be held at Oak Hill High School auditorium, to discuss the facility needs of our school. The purpose of this meeting is to review the condition of our school facility and make recommendations to the superintendent concerning current needs and desired improvements.

-- Meadow Bridge Community School Bond Discussion — The Meadow Bridge community meeting to discuss the potential school bond will be held Monday, May 13 at 7 p.m. in the new gymnasium at Meadow Bridge High School.

-- MTA Board — The MTA board of directors will meet on Wednesday, May 15, at 5 p.m. at the MTA offices located at 1096 Broad Street, Summersville. The public is invited to attend.

-- SCD Board — The Southern Conservation District’s monthly board meeting on May 9 will be held at the SCD Building, 463 Ragland Road, Beckley, at 9:45 a.m. Normal business will be conducted.
