Farmers Market open

FAYETTEVILLE — The Fayette County Farmers Market is open each Saturday in Fayetteville from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. The market is located in the parking lot of the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau at the entrance to Fayetteville. The market will be held every Saturday at that location through November.

Customers can expect to find fresh, early season produce including strawberries, lettuce, onions, spinach, peas, and radishes. There will be farm fresh eggs, home baked breads, jams, apple butter, and sweets as well as perrenial plants, trees, berry plants and vegetable starts.

The Farmers Market will continue to accept Senior Coupons, WIC vouchers and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Benefits (SNAP) in return for fresh produce.
