The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce’s annual picnic recognizing the Man, Woman and Business of the Year is set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at Hawks Nest State Park.
Chamber members are invited to join the fun for tram rides, jetboat rides, swimming and more. Cost is $35 per person with kids under 16 free.
Also, the Chamber currently is accepting nominations for Man, Woman or Business of the Year. The Chamber, along with its partners King Coal Chevrolet and Crossroads Mall, annually recognizes a Man, Woman and Business of the Year who expend extra effort to improve the way of life in Fayette County.
