Gospel Sing — The 8th annual New Year Community Benefit Gospel Sing will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Summersville Baptist Church, Main Street, Summersville. Although admission is free, everyone is requested to please bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated to The Salvation Army food pantry in Summersville. Also, a love offering will be received and donated to the Richwood and Summersville Ministerial Associations’ community needs funds. Singing God’s praises will be Dana Thomas and Jennifer Gatewood from Summersville, Hands of Worship from Canvas, The Pomeroys from Richwood, the Deal Brothers from Craigsville and the Faith Harmony Boys from Charleston.
