Peggy Sue Nutter Fox

Peggy Sue Nutter Fox, 78, of Ansted, died Oct. 10, 2013, at her home.

Born July 28, 1935, at Ansted, she was the daughter of the late Emory and Beatrice Pauley Nutter. Her husband, Ashley Fox; a son, Gary Fox; and a sister, Evelyn Stull, also preceded her in death.

Peggy was a homemaker.

Surviving: her children, Ruth Steele of Oak Hill, Jimmy Fox of Ansted, Judy Stafford of Ansted, Vickie McMullen of Ames Heights and Steven Fox of Ansted; sister, Sherry Parrish of Oak Hill; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Fox’s body was donated to the WVU Human Gift Registry in Morgantown. There will be no visitation or service.

Kaylee Nevaeh Gilkerson

Kaylee Nevaeh Gilkerson, stillborn daughter of Shane Michael and Jessica Nickole Evans Gilkerson, died Oct. 11, 2013.

Kaylee was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bruce Gilkerson, and great-grandparents, Gene Evans and Jimmy James.

Surviving, in addition to her parents: grandparents, Cecil and Sherry Evans of Oak Hill, Karen and Roger Burtt of Fayetteville, Sheila Berry and husband Buddy of Gatewood; stepgrandfather and great-grandparents, Bill and Yvonne Gilman of Gatewood, Nancy Evans of Oak Hill and Carol Saunders of Beckley; uncle, Jason Evans; aunts, Ginny Bugg and husband John, Brandy Henshu and husband Matt, Bonnie Gilkerson and numerous other family.

Shirley J. Hambrick

Shirley J. Hambrick, 64, died Oct. 13, 2013.

Born Jan. 18, 1949, she was the daughter of the late General and Myrtle Pritchard Maynard. She also was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Audrey Bais, Jimmy Maynard, Mary Elkins and Bill Maynard; and grandchildren, Wesley Toler and Michelle Barnard.

Shirley was known as a truly kind-hearted and caring person and the best Mom-Maw.

Surviving: daughters, Audrey Toler and her husband, Bobby, Barbara Roach and her husband, Mark, Kim Hopchak and her husband, Michael, and Leigh Roberts and her husband, Anthony; brother, Kenneth Maynard; grandchildren, Samantha Davidson, Billy Davidson, Matthew Toler, Linnie Pooh Toler, Cheryl Barnard, Robbie Barnard, Amanda Tuck, Ashley Huckleberry, Lauri Leigh Treadway, Issac Roberts and Evan Roberts; and eight great-grandchildren.

Service was Oct. 16 at High Lawn Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Paul Neil officiating. Burial followed in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
