Preston Lee Kelly
Preston Lee Kelly, 68, of Weirwood, died Oct. 13, 2013, at his home.
Born May 2, 1945, at Mahan, he was the son of the late Ruby Laura Kelly Dotson and stepson of Charlie Dotson.
Preston was a retired school bus driver for the Fayette County Board of Education with 23 years’ service. He was also a retired sales associate for Lowe’s of Martinsburg.
He attended the Pax Worship Center.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam Conflict.
Surviving: his wife, Darnell Stover Kelly; children, Steven Stover of Weirwood, Michele Moore of Mount Hope, Kimberly Durant of Hammond, Ind., George Kaye of Weirwood, Wayne Kelly of Kincaid and Austin Kelly of Weirwood; brother, Kenneth Dotson of Campbellsville, Ky.; sisters, Drema McGuire of Whipple and Patricia Minter of Oak Hill; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were Oct. 16 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Pastor Dwayne Williams and Pastor Darrell Ewing officiating. Burial was at Wriston Cemetery, Lick Fork at Mossy.

Lou Gorden Lewis
Lou Gorden Lewis, 72, of Danese, died Oct. 5, 2013, at Beckley Appalachian Regional Healthcare of Beckley, following a long illness.
Born April 21, 1941, at Kathryn (Hemlock), he was the son of the late Lemuel and Golda Richardson Lewis. He also was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lou Lewis; second wife, Edna Fitzwater Lewis; a stepdaughter, Linda Reichard; brothers, Leo, Fred, Jimmie, Grady, Mason and Dennis Lewis; and three infant sons.
Lou was a retired coal miner, a member of the UMWA and was of the Baptist faith.
He loved to go hunting and really enjoyed being outdoors.
Surviving: a daughter, Nancy Bowman (David) of Florida; a stepson, Charles Lewis of Florida; a sister, Melinda Lewis Migner (Herschel) of Danese; three grandsons of Florida; two great-granddaughters of Florida; a sister-in-law, Doris Ann Lewis of Virginia; special niece, Goldie Lewis Shrewsbury of Beckley;
