Isaac Luther Harville Jr.

Isaac Luther Harville Jr., 83, of Russellville, died April 18, 2012, at Ansted, following a long illness.

Born Dec. 7, 1928, in Brookville, Fla., Isaac was the son of the late Isaac Luther Harville and Josephine Davis Harville.

He was a rancher by trade and a member of the Methodist faith.

Surviving: his daughter, with whom he made his home, Cynthia A. Herndon and her husband, David, of Russellville; sons, Isaac Randall Harville and Enoc Keenon Harville, both of Florida; a sister, Carolyn McCoy of Brookside, Fla.; grandchildren, Stanis Anette O’Dell and  Jeremy, Jessica Dawn Poticher and Christopher, and Kendra Sue Whitmore; and great-grandchildren, Emily Dawn O’Dell and Kayla Rae O’Dell.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at Bays Chapel in Nallen with Pastor Mike Loudermilk officiating.

Henry Johnson Jr.

Mr. Henry Johnson Jr. of Oak Hill died April 21, 2012.

Anna McDaniel

Anna McDaniel, 73, a resident of Highland Home Care Center of Ridgeland, Miss., formerly of Meridian, died March 16, 2012.

Born Oct. 12, 1938, in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late George Murphy and Roxie Louise Daniel Murphy. She also was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Gary W. McDaniel, in November 1981; and her brother, George David Murphy of Waxahachie, Texas.

Mrs. McDaniel was a devoted military wife and loving mother. While in Charleston, S.C., she volunteered her time to the MenRiv Park Chapel. At the Meridian Naval Air Station, she volunteered at the base chapel and was active with the Ladies Auxiliary.

Anna worked for McRae’s in the cash office and retired from Goody’s Department Store in 1999.

She enjoyed participating in the Meridian Bowling League, playing golf at Meridian NAS, traveling and reading.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Meridian.

Surviving: daughters, Ruth Ann McDaniel Lathem and her husband, Skip, of Forest, and Susan Elaine McDaniel Ordich and her husband, Scott, and their son, Brooks of Boynton Beach, Fla.; sister, Shirley Murphy Myers and her husband, Jack, of Tiverton, R.I.; brother, Robert Murphy and his wife, Carolyn, of Arlington, Texas; sister, Judy Murphy Rowe of Meridian; sister, Jane Murphy Keith and her husband, John, of Fayetteville; sister-in-law, Sheila Murphy of Waxahachie, Texas; 12 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held March 24 at First Baptist Church in Meridian, Miss., with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating.
