Richard George Delmas
Richard George Delmas, 80, of Tacoma, Wash., formerly of Meadow Bridge, died April 12, 2013.
In keeping with his final wishes, he was cremated and will be placed at Mountain View Cemetery in Lakewood, Wash. A celebration of life service was held May 25 at Mountain View Missionary Baptist Church in Dawson.

Elberta Delvira Gill
Elberta Delvira Gill, 92, of Rainelle, died May 22, 2013, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, following a long illness.
Born July 22, 1920, in Edmond, she was the daughter of the late William and Victoria Ramsey. She also was preceded in death by her sisters, Winnie Steel, Maxine Higginbottom, Delvina Whitaker and Lucille Prater; and her brothers, Woodville Ramsey, Basil Ramsey, Frank Ramsey and Luther Ramsey.
She was employed in the medical field as a nurse in Parkersburg.
She attended Salem Freewill Baptist Church of Oak Hill, and Ansted Baptist Church of Ansted.
Surviving: her sister-in-law, Mary Ramsey of Rainelle, her niece, Sandra and Bill Chapman of Fenwick; her great-nephew, Joey of Fenwick; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at the Orient Hill Cemetery, Orient Hill, on May 26. Rev. John Wyatt officiated the services.

Robert Eugene ‘Bobby Gene’ Hammontree
Robert Eugene “Bobby Gene” Hammontree, 71, of Lochgelly, died May 24, 2013, after a lengthy illness.
Born May 16, 1942, at Lochgelly, he was the son of the late Claude Silver Hammontree and Dorothy Jane Sisson Hammontree. In addition to his parents and five siblings, Bobby Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Lee Ball Hammontree, in October 2010.
Bobby Gene retired several years ago after working 30 years on the assembly line for Chrysler.
Surviving: his children, Paul Hammontree of Michigan and Paula Hammontree of Florida, Robert Hammontree and wife Shawn of Michigan, Rosanne Hammontree of Illinois, Loretta Gubin and husband Paul, and Anthony Hammontree and wife Sarah, all of Michigan, and Claude Hammontree and Adam Hammontree, both of Lochgelly; siblings, Betty Devier of Michigan, Ralph Hammontree and wife Ann of Georgia, Roger Hammontree of Lochgelly, Larry Hammontree of Oak Hill, Claude Hammontree of Lochgelly, and Pam Kizer and husband Nick of Mt. Hope; mother-in-law, Sue Ball of Tennessee; several grandchildren, one great-grandchild, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service was May 29 at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, with Pastor Steve Upshure officiating. Burial followed in High Lawn Memorial Park.
