Teddy Harold Thomas
Teddy Harold Thomas, 80, of Meadow Bridge, died June 3, 2013, after a long illness.
He was born on May 21, 1933, in Meadow Bridge. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Thomas of Meadow Bridge.
Ted had been an electrician in the mines for several years and prior to that he owned an Esso Station located in his hometown.
Surviving: his wife, Edna Gayle and their three children, Theresa Orndorff and her fiancé, Randy Phillips, of Kingsport, Tenn., Teddy David and his wife, Sally, of Bedford, N.H., and Tony and his wife, Becky, of Shady Spring; very loved grandchildren, Drew and Maegan (Meggie) Jo Thomas, and Anna Orndorff and Hannah Thomas; a brother, W.D. (Junior) Thomas and wife Eugenia of Meadow Bridge; a sister, Joy and husband Justo Gonzales of Meadow Bridge; a sister-in-law, Peggy Thomas of Meadow Bridge; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and burial were June 6 at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville, with Pastor Roger Booth officiating.

Earl Walker, 93, of Dayton, Md., died June 2, 2013, at his home following a short illness.
Born in Springdale, on March 17, 1920, he was son of the late William C. Walker and Elsie M. White Walker. He also was preceded in death by his sisters, Thelma Peters, Jewel Miller, Grace Campbell, Glenna Jett, Pansie Twohig, and Evelyn Rose, and his brothers, Lawrence and Chester Walker.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. After his military service he became a mechanic in the auto industry.
He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Surviving: his sister, Wanda Gregory of Dayton, Md.
Funeral service was June 8 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle, with Pastor Bob Scharnhorst officiating. Burial followed at End of the Trail Cemetery in Clintonville, with the Midland Trail Masonic Lodge 166 conducting the Masonic graveside rights.
