Mildred Virginia Pritt Alexander
Mildred Virginia Pritt Alexander, 85, of Smithers, died Nov. 28, 2012.
Born March 25, 1927, at Cannelton, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Edward and Myrtle Ester Estep Pritt. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Albert “Hogan” Alexander, and a son, Charles Edward Alexander.
She was a member of Oakland Church of God in Smithers.
Surviving: daughters, Beverly Dickerson and husband Kenton of Hico, and Pamela Brown and husband Joseph of Smithers; son, Gerald “Gary” Alexander and his wife, Leigh Ann, of Montgomery; brothers, George Pritt of Cannelton, and Lewis E. Pritt and wife Ann of Illinois; grandchildren, Charles Michael Dickenson, Stacey Ann Cooper, Candice Dawn Dickerson, Bradley Wayne Alexander and Lana Nicole Hill; stepgranddaughter, Jamie Gwinn; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Service was Dec. 4 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with the Rev. Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial was at Montgomery Memorial Park at London.

Matthew Allan Blair
Matthew Allan Blair, 26, of Critchley Lane in Danese, formerly of Kent, Ohio, and Las Vegas, Nev., died Nov. 26, 2012, at his residence in Danese.
Born April 28, 1986, at Beckley, he was the son of Karen Critchley Blair Smith of Pulaski, Va., and his father, Jerry Randall Blair of Edmond.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cecil and Gussie Blair; his great-grandparents, Elsie Smith, and Buzz and Mary Critchley; and his stepfather, David Glen Smith.
Surviving, in addition to his parents: his very good friend, Jenny Gunnoe; brothers, John Randall Blair and David Cook, both of Pulaski, Va.; grandparents, John and Hilda Critchley of Danese; uncles, Steve Critchley of Lakewood, Ohio, and Tony and Nikki Critchley, and Robert and Tressa Critchley, all of Danese.
Services were Dec. 4 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle, with Pastor Floyd D. Bolen officiating. Burial followed at the family cemetery.
