Nina Mae Keenan
Nina Mae Keenan, 83, of Belva, died Dec. 1, 2012, at Montgomery General Elderly Care, Montgomery.
Born April 15, 1929, in Ramsey, she was the daughter of the late Shirley Ruffner Boles and Helena Mae Hess Boles. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Keenan; daughter, Teresa Keenan; brothers, Austin and James Boles; and a sister, Louise Morris.
She was a homemaker and a member of Swiss Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving: her grandchildren, Shannon Harvey of Charlton Heights, Tracy Peters of Boomer, Derek Wagner of Charlton Heights and Amy Nichols of Beckley; and her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Dennis Preast of Belva.
Graveside service was Dec. 3, at Rich Creek Community Cemetery, Jodie, with Rev. Jeff Floyd officiating.

Frank Junior Maynor
Frank Junior Maynor, 87, of Fayetteville, died peacefully at his home Nov. 30, 2012.
Born May 2, 1925, in Long Branch, he was the son of the late Henry Frank Maynor and Gertrude Sheppard Maynor. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Bailey Maynor; son, Eric Maynor; brothers, Buster, Adair, Sherman, and Melvin Maynor; and a sister, Georgie Williams.
Mr. Maynor was a devoted family man and loved the Lord. He was a member of Brooklyn Community Church.
He also served our country in the United States Army during World War II.
Surviving: his sons, Eddie Frank Maynor of Brooklyn, and Evan Maynor (Tina) and Scotty Maynor (Brenda), all of Oak Hill; daughters, Carolyn Landers (Stephen) of Gatewood, and Peggy Carter and Ladonna Cumbow (James), all of Oak Hill; sister, Francis Williams; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services of Celebration was conducted Dec. 3 at Ewing Creek Church at Clear Creek with Pastor Gary Williams officiating. Interment followed at Ewing Creek Cemetery at Toney Fork.
