Dorothy McCoy

Dorothy McCoy, 91, of Oak Hill, died March 11, 2013.

Harry L. Neal

Harry L. “Bunny” Neal, 83, of Gaymont Mountain, died March 8, 2013, following a long illness.

Born April 11, 1929, at Victor, he was the son of the late Hallie and Lottie Stine Neal. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Neal, and brothers, Billy, Raymond “Buster,” Nelson “Bud,” and Charles “Buck” Neal.

He was a retired maintenance worker and was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church at Ansted.

Surviving: sisters, Freda Smith and her husband, Tommy, of Ripley, and Maxine Ferrell and her husband, Charles, of Victor; sister-in-law, Jackie Neal of Gaymont Mountain; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were March 12 at the Trinity Assembly of God Church, Ansted, with Pastor Michael Angelona officiating. Burial followed at the McKinney Memorial Cemetery, Gaymont Mountain.

Pamela Sue Pennington Settle

Pamela Sue Pennington Settle, 49, of Oak Hill, died March 4, 2013, at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley.

Born Feb. 4, 1964, at Oak Hill, she was the daughter of Dixie Allen Pennington Williamson of Scarbro, and the late Delbert Pennington.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving, in addition to her loving mother: a son, Joshua Lee Settle of Oak Hill; daughter, Ashley Dawn Settle of Oak Hill; brothers, Oscar Pennington of Dothan and James Pennington of Page; a sister, Ramona Shamblin of Oak Hill; her granddaughter, Treasure Elizabeth Settle of Oak Hill; grandson, Logan Settle; special niece, Debra Johnson of Mount Hope; and special nephew, Clarence Shamblin Jr. of Oak Hill.

Services were March 9, at Tyree Funeral Homel in Oak Hill with Pastor Jamie Baley officiating. Burial was at Pax Community Cemetery.
