Deanna Lynn Adkins Hulvey

Deanna Lynn Adkins Hulvey, 46, of Alandale, Fla., died suddenly at her home on March 8, 2013.

Born July 4, 1966, in Portsmouth, Va., she was the daughter of the late Jesse Thomas and Glenda Gail Toney Adkins. A brother, Thomas Ray Adkins, also preceded her in death.

She will be sadly missed by many other family and close friends. We will carry her memory in our hearts forever.

Surviving: sisters, Donna Wilson of South Daytona, Fla., and Sharon Gutierrez of Canton, Ga.; brother, Daniel Adkins of Dothan; six nieces and nephews, three great-nieces and one great-nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 26, at Peters Cemetery in Dothan. For more information, contact her sister, Sharon Gutierrez at 912-332-3075.

Johnnie Moore

Johnnie Moore, 72, of Mount Hope, died March 14, 2013.

A celebration of life for Johnnie was held March 23 at Maple Fork Baptist Church.

Randy Wayne Nichols

Randy Wayne Nichols, 58, of Page, died March 25, 2013, at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, after a long illness and many complications stemming from rheumatoid arthritis.

Born Dec. 12, 1954, at Page, he was the son of the late Maynard and Jewell Mae Nichols. A sister, Nena Beverly Wolfe, also preceded him in death.

Surviving: daughters, Michelle Ayers of Winfield and Karen Nichols of Oak Hill, along with their mother, Vonda Nichols of Page, and Audrey Nichols of Bristol, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and brothers, Larry Nichols, Lance Nichols and Steve Nichols.

It was his wish to be cremated and have no traditional service. His family will have a private ceremony at a later date.

Mrs. Virginia “Ginny” Owens, 78, of Mount Hope, died March 25, 2013.
