Ercil Lee Barker
Ercil Lee Barker, 74, of Lansing, died June 23, 2012, at his home.
Born June 25, 1937, at Holtville, Calif., he was the son of the late Henry Lee and Erma Blevins Barker. His wife, Barbara Ann Ramey Barker, preceded him in death on June 14, 2011.
Mr. Barker was a retired electrician, having worked for the U.S. Government.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving: son, Lee Barker and wife Penny of Blacksburg, Va.; daughters, Beverly Crosier and husband Jimbo of Ansted, and Lori Woodson and husband Mike of Oak Hill; sister, Jocelyn McCallister of California; and grandchildren, Seth Crosier, Erin Crosier and Noah Woodson.
Funeral services were June 27 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Kenny Hayes and Pastor Mike Anderson officiating. Burial followed at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill.

Robert ‘Bobby’ Howard Bragg III
Robert “Bobby” Howard Bragg III, 49, of Rainelle, died June 21, 2012, from a sudden illness at the home of his Granny in Danese.
Born Aug. 28, 1962, in Charleston, S.C., he was the son of Robert Howard Bragg II of Danese and the late Mona Gayle Maynard Bragg. He was raised by his Granny Bragg and his stepmother, Sharon Glassburn of Charleston.
Bobby was a miner with WV Mine Power.
He was an eight-year veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve.
Also surviving: his wife, Onna M. Bragg of Rainelle; daughters, Brittany A. Bragg and Ciara C. Casillas, both of Rainelle; sons, Robert Thomas William Bragg of Cross Lanes, Kagan M. Bragg of Santa Fe, N.M., and Tyler O. Casillas of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Susie Forbes of Meadow Bridge, Maggie Harrison of Middleburg, Fla., and Shari Kincaid of Scott Depot; brothers, James Lee Bragg of Danese, and Bryan Bragg of Cross Lanes; and Granny Mildred Bragg Harmon of Danese, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his beloved little dog “companion” Bama.
Visitation was held June 26. There was no burial as the body was cremated.
