A graveside service was held June 21 at the Horton Family Cemetery at Sophia, with Elder Joe Blevins officiating.

Wanda May Stover Lukie Craddock
Wanda May Stover Lukie Craddock, 93, of Cleveland, Ohio, a native of Clear Creek, died on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Park Side Villas in Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
Born June 5, 1921, at Clear Creek, she was the daughter of the late Huey and Nora Thorne Clay Stover and stepdaughter of Mary Bailey Stover Kincaid. Her husband, John Lukie; daughter and son-in-law, Ethel and Harold Berry; seven brothers; four sisters; and great-grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Vojacek, also preceded her in death.
Wanda was a member of the Scarbro United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.
Surviving: son, John Wayne Lukie and wife Doris of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Brenda Jane Fowler and husband Jack of Cleveland; half-sisters, Ruby Golch of Maryland and Susie Atkins of Beckley; half-brothers, Elbert Stover of Clear Creek and Doff Kincaid of Glen Daniel; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were June 20 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill, with Rev. Arolette Stover officiating. Burial was at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.

Beaulah Scruggs Fleshman
Mother Beaulah Scruggs Fleshman, 96, of Harvey, died June 15, 2014.
Born Oct. 27, 1917 in Covel, she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Scruggs. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Fleshman; son, Bennie Fleshman Jr.; six brothers and five sisters.
Mother Fleshman was a graduate of DuBois High School and a member of First Baptist Church, Harvey, where she served and labored for many years.
Surviving: her sons, Kenneth Fleshman of Cleveland, Ohio, Floyd (Luvenia) Fleshman of Gloucester, Va. and Ernest Fleshman of Harvey; daughter, Delores ( Francis) Fruit of Cleveland, Ohio; adopted grandson, Tyrell (Dione) Fleshman of Columbia, S.C.; brother, Marion (Maxine) Scruggs of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Marie Turner of Washington, D.C., and Beverly Wiley of Cleveland, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was June 21 at Harvey Missionary Baptist Church, Harvey, with Rev. William Chapman officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.
