Betty M. Green

Betty M. Green, 77, of Maple Fork Road, died Sept. 4, 2013, at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born May 27, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Jordan and Dollie Teel Jordan. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Malcomb D. Green; brothers, Sonny Jordan and Crawford Jordan; and by a sister, Virginia Stanevich.

Betty was a very loving, gentle person who enjoyed her children, grandchildren and friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She has left each one with very special memories that will last their lifetime.

Surviving: her daughters, Toni' James-Stover of Beckley and Dinah Radford and her husband, Edwin, of Beckley; her son, Bruce McClung and partner Sandy Hawley of Beckley; grandchildren, Matthew Radford and wife Andrea, Felicia Puckett and husband John, Lee James, Mark McClung and wife Ashley, Adam James and wife Jill, Wes James and Zack Stover; great-grandchildren, Madison, Emma, Addison and Eve; sister, Marie Frye and husband Bill; and brothers, Jim Jordan and L.T. Jordan and wife Jeannie.

A memorial service was conducted Sept. 7 at High Lawn Funeral Chapel, Oak Hill, with Rev. Harmon Davis officiating. Entombment was in High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill.

James B. Hash Jr.

James B. Hash Jr., 85, of Danese, died Sept. 4, 2013, at Kanawha Hospice Care, Charleston.

Born April 21, 1928, in Layland, he was the son of the late James B. Hash Sr. and Mary L. Hash. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney K. Hash.

James attended Zickafoose Memorial Church and was a retired machinist.

Surviving: his loving wife of 64 years, Janice R. Wells Hash; daughter, Cassandra Hash-Cooper and husband Joe; son James B. Hash III and wife Vickie; sisters, Alta C. Smith and Shirley Adkins; granddaughter, Melanie S. Allen; and great-grandson, Brackston C. Allen.

Services were Sept. 9 at the Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, with Rev. Jack Reeves and Rev. Sherman McCombs officiating.
