Otis ‘Frank’ Clark

Otis Franklin “Frankie” Clark, 62, of Beckley, formerly of Fayetteville, died June 30, 2012, at Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown.

Born March 25, 1950, at Charleston, he was the son of the late Otis Clark Jr. and Mary Frances Brown Clark.

Mr. Clark grew up in Fayetteville where he graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1970.

He was a retired mental health caregiver with REM of WV, Inc.

Surviving: his beloved aunt, Virginia Arline Harrah Propps of Oak Hill; several cousins; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services, with burial following, were July 9 in the mausoleum at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville, with Pastor Russell Hays officiating.

Harry E. Cumbow Jr.

Harry E. Cumbow Jr., 78, of Nickie Lane, Fostoria, Ohio, died July 4, 2012, at Kindred Hospital Lima.

Born Jan. 6, 1934, in Harvey, he was the son of the late Harry E. and Dora V. (Starks) Cumbow. He also was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Cumbow; and sisters, Helen Wilson and Barbara Jackson.

Harry was a Trainmaster and began his 37-year railroad career with the Nickel Plate Railroad in Cleveland, and retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad in Fostoria.

He was a member of the Bascom United Methodist Church.

Harry dearly loved and enjoyed his family and friends, especially his granddaughter, Shelby. He enjoyed spending the past 19 years wintering in Arizona.

He married Margaret J. Meadows Jan. 23, 1954, in Cleveland, and she survives in Fostoria.

Surviving, in addition to his wife: daughters, Orma V. (Danny) Willard of North Ridgeville, Ohio, and Helen A. (Joe) Emerine, Fostoria; granddaughter, Shelby L. Emerine of Fostoria; and a brother, Jackie (Geneva) Cumbow, Pickens, S.C.

Funeral service was July 7 at Bascom United Methodist Church, 5660 Tiffin St., Bascom, Ohio 44809, with Pastor Cal Cook presiding. Burial followed in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Memorials are suggested to Bascom United Methodist Church, ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
