Delores Jean ‘Jeanie’ Comer Pack

Delores Jean “Jeanie” Comer Pack, 54, of Oak Hill, died June 22, 2012.

Due to the power outage, funeral services were rescheduled and held July 5 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with Pastor Jeff Hays officiating. Burial followed in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Oak Hill.

Clifford Curtis Parsons

Clifford Curtis Parsons, 79, of Clay, formerly of Minden, died July 4, 2012, at CAMC-General Division in Charleston.

Born April 27, 1933, at Fola, he was the son of the late Curt and Myrtle Steward Parsons. His wife, Betty Noal Anderson Parsons; a daughter, Sharon Kelly; grandson, John ‘Tony’ Kelly; and 11 siblings also preceded him in death.

He was a retired foreman for Carbon Fuel.

Mr. Parsons was a member of the Rock Lick Community Church, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving: son, Clifford Thomas Parsons of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; a daughter, Susan Workman of Clay; brothers, Roy Parsons of Scott Depot and Henry Clayton Parsons of New York; grandchildren, Joseph, Curtis, Amy, Ashley, Chris and Eugene; and great-grandchildren, Hannah, Jenna, Natalie, Caleb and Emma.

Funeral services were July 8 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Paris Workman officiating. Burial followed in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley, with military graveside rites by Oak Hill VFW Post No. 3110.

Beulah May Renkovish

Mrs. Beulah May Renkovish, 79, of Oak Hill,died July 2, 2012, at her home while surrounded by those she loved.

Born Nov. 26, 1932, in Oak Hill, Beulah was the daughter of the late Orpha Dale Blake Johnson and Norman Johnson. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Johnson; and a grandson, Stephen Renkovish Jr.

Surviving: her devoted husband of 57 years, William Renkovish Sr., who dedicated himself to care for her until the Lord called her home; children, William Renkovish Jr. of Oak Hill, Stephen Renkovish of Easley, S.C., and Donna Renkovish McCurry of Reidsville, N.C.; a devoted sister, Shelby Johnson of Fayetteville; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was July 5 at Grace Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Burial was at High Lawn Memorial Park on Main Street in Oak Hill.

Donations may be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia or to Grace Baptist Church in her honor.
