OHHS Class of 1990 — The Oak Hill High School Class of 1990 will hold its 20-year reunion Sept. 3 through Sept. 5. On Friday, Sept. 3, there will be a meet and greet at Smokey’s on the Gorge from 6 until 7 p.m. followed by dinner and group pictures. Dress is casual. A cash bar is located in the restaurant. Dinner and DJ service will be on the lower deck. Class members wishing to take part in the Oak Leaf Festival parade on Saturday, Sept. 4 should meet at High Lawn Cemetery no later than 10 a.m. on Saturday. Children are welcome. The parade is set for 11 a.m., and class members are invited for family fun at Collins Park behind Collins Middle School following the parade for pizza and refreshments. On Sunday, Sept. 5, there will be a service at Life Bridge Church at 10:30 a.m. The church is located across from King Coal Chevrolet. Golf Day at Bridge Haven is planned for Sunday, as well as fireworks at 8:30 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce with Red Devil cake and pnch. Live music will be performed at Oak Hill High School from 1 to 4 p.m., and the Chili Cookoff is set for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Fayette Institute of Technology (Vo-Tech). Cost for class members is $50 which includes dinner, a 20-year reunion T-shirt for the OHHS Class of 1990, a class photo and a memory booklet. Cost for each additional dinner guest is $20. Also, add an additional $10 for an extra T-shirt, or $13 for an extra XXL shirt. Please make checks or money orders payable to OHHS Class of 1990, and RSVP to OHHS Class of 1990, c/o Bobby Atha, PO Box 445, Oak Hill, WV 25901 before Aug. 6. Those who do not RSVP and still wish to attend will not receive a gift packet and will have to pay the non-discounted price for dinner at the door.
