Gauley Bridge High Class of 1952 — The Gauley Bridge High School Class of 1952 will meet again in 2011. Plans will be published as they become available.

Stewart Reunion — The children of the late Fred and Dessie Mae Parrish Stewart will hold their annual family reunion on Sunday, Sept. 5, at the Collins Park, behind Collins Middle School, starting at 11:30 a.m. All siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and distant relatives are encouraged to attend. This is a covered dish meal, so plan to bring your favorite dishes. Organizers look forward to seeing everyone.

Come On Home Reunion — Please join in the 2010 Come on Home Reunion and mail your reservation in the amount of $20 each, payable to Come on Home Reunion to: Charlie Jones, 106 Phillips Street, Fayetteville, WV 25840. The FHS Alumni Association awarded six $1,000 scholarships in 2009 and will be awarding six in 2010. Initial membership fee is $25 and dues for the following years are $10 per year. Memorial donations, no minimum required, will be gratefully accepted. Please indicate the name to be used and it will be placed on the Memorial Plaque, which is displayed at Fayetteville High School. The second plaque has several names on it already and is placed alongside the first plaque. If you haven’t joined the Alumni Association or renewed your membership, please do so now. Debbie Kenna Richardson, Dale Dickerson Ryder and Becky Dickerson are still working with the Come on Home Committee. They are trying to encourage some of the younger graduates to attend the reunions and were successful last year in getting some new faces and new ideas at the 2009 reunion. Hope to see even more at the 2010 reunion.



FHS Class of 1990 — The Fayetteville High School Class of 1990 is planning a 20-year class reunion for Aug. 7. This will consist of a picnic at the Fayetteville Town Park from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and a dinner event at Three Gables Restaurant from 5 until 10 p.m. Addresses still are needed for the following classmates: Wendi Cadle, Jeni Crouse Davis, Randy Hall, Chris Sapp, Joe Sizemore, Brett Skaggs, Michelle Smith and Tony Tingler. Vandall-Sawyers — The Vandall-Sawyers family reunion will be held at Shelter #4, Grandview State Park, on Sunday, July 11.
