The FHS Alumni Association awarded six $1,000 scholarships in 2009 and will be awarding six in 2010. Initial membership fee is $25 and dues for the following years are $10 per year. Memorial donations, no minimum required, will be gratefully accepted. Please indicate the name to be used and it will be placed on the Memorial Plaque, which is displayed at Fayetteville High School. The second plaque has several names on it already and is placed alongside the first plaque. If you haven’t joined the Alumni Association or renewed your membership, please do so now. Please make checks payable to FHS Alumni Association and mail to Joan Dickerson, PO Box 195, Fayetteville, WV 25840. Debbie Kenna Richardson, Dale Dickerson Ryder and Becky Dickerson are still working with the Come on Home Committee. They are trying to encourage some of the younger graduates to attend the reunions and were successful last year in getting some new faces and new ideas at the 2009 reunion. Hope to see even more at the 2010 reunion.
