CHS Class of 1960 — The Collins High School Class of 1960 will hold its 50-year class reunion  on Sept. 3-4, Friday night at the Scout Cabin and Saturday night at the Lewis Community Foundation’s Christian Community Center. FHS Class of 1965 — The Fayetteville High School Class of 1965 will have its 45-year class reunion on Aug. 13-14. On Friday, Aug. 13, a free casual gathering will be held at the Fayetteville American Legion Hall from 6 to 10 p.m. There will be light refreshment available, and classmates may come and go as they like. Saturday, Aug. 14 will be the buffet dinner and business meeting at the Lewis Community Foundation’s Christian Community Center in Oak Hill. Time for this event is 6 to 11 p.m., with dinner at 7:30. Class business will be after dinner, followed by doo-wop music.  The cost of dinner and entertainment will be $28. Your reservation will be needed no later than Aug. 5. If you started the 7th grade at FHS in 1959 (Class of '65) or attended FHS at any time with us during your high school days, you are still considered a member of our class and are cordially invited to either event. Dothan-Toney Creek — The Dothan-Toney Creek Community Reunion will be held Saturday, July 31, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Oak High School, 350 West Oyler Avenue, Oak Hill. All past and present residents of these communities are welcome to attend. The meal will catered and the cost is $10 each. For more information, call 304-469-9535 (Roma Lively).

OHHS Class of 1990 — The Oak Hill High School Class of 1990 will hold its 20-year reunion Sept. 3 through Sept. 5. On Friday, Sept. 3, there will be a meet and greet at Smokey’s on the Gorge from 6 until 7 p.m. followed by dinner and group pictures. Dress is casual. A cash bar is located in the restaurant. Dinner and DJ service will be on the lower deck. Class members wishing to take part in the Oak Leaf Festival parade on Saturday, Sept. 4 should meet at High Lawn Cemetery no later than 10 a.m. on Saturday. Children are welcome. The parade is set for 11 a.m., and class members are invited for family fun at Collins Park behind Collins Middle School following the parade for pizza and refreshments. On Sunday, Sept. 5, there will be a service at Life Bridge Church at 10:30 a.m. The church is located across from King Coal Chevrolet. Golf Day at Bridge Haven is planned for Sunday, as well as fireworks at 8:30 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce with Red Devil cake and pnch. Live music will be performed at Oak Hill High School from 1 to 4 p.m., and the Chili Cookoff is set for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Fayette Institute of Technology (Vo-Tech). Cost for class members is $50 which includes dinner, a 20-year reunion T-shirt for the OHHS Class of 1990, a class photo and a memory booklet. Cost for each additional dinner guest is $20. Also, add an additional $10 for an extra T-shirt, or $13 for an extra XXL shirt. Shuff Family Reunion — The Shuff Familiy Reunion will be Aug. 1 at 12 p.m. at Carnifex Ferry Battlefield State Park, Shelter #2, Summersville. For more information, call 304-658-5612.

Kesler/Kessler Reunion — The descendants of Peter Kesler, originally from Germany, will be meeting for the 62nd annual Kesler/Kessler Reunion at the Kesler Memorial Presbyterian Church at Clifty on Sunday Road, Hico, on Sunday, Aug. 8. All Keslers and Kesslers are to be reunited beginning at a 10 a.m. Sunday school service and then the 11 a.m. morning worship service. There will be a picnic luncheon at the noon hour with special singing by the Fisherman Quartet from Ohio, starting at 1 p.m. Paperware, silverware and drinks are provided. OHHS Class of 1980 — The Oak Hill High School Class of 1980 will hold its 30-year high school reunion on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 6 and 7. Stewart Reunion — The children of the late Fred and Dessie Mae Parrish Stewart will hold their annual family reunion on Sunday, Sept. 5, at the Collins Park, behind Collins Middle School, starting at 11:30 a.m. All siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and distant relatives are encouraged to attend. This is a covered dish meal, so plan to bring your favorite dishes. Organizers look forward to seeing everyone.

FHS Class of 1990 — The Fayetteville High School Class of 1990 is planning a 20-year class reunion for Aug. 7. This will consist of a picnic at the Fayetteville Town Park from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and a dinner event at Three Gables Restaurant from 5 until 10 p.m. Addresses still are needed for the following classmates: Wendi Cadle, Jeni Crouse Davis, Randy Hall, Chris Sapp, Joe Sizemore, Brett Skaggs, Michelle Smith and Tony Tingler. GBHS Class of 1990 — Organizers for the 20-year reunion for the Gauley Bridge High School Class of 1990 are urging class members to solidify their attendance plans as soon as possible. A buffet dinner and dance will be held on Saturday, Aug. 7 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the former GBHS building. Then, a family picnic will be held on Sunday, Aug. 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Carnifex Ferry. Morris Creek — The Morris Creek Watershed Association is hosting its bi-annual Morris Drive Reunion on Aug. 14 and 15. Festivities kick off at noon on Aug. 14. Participants can enjoy free food, an assortment of kids’ games, and musical entertainment by Brandon Green and the Judah’s Lyons. A $5 cover charge is requested for the concert. The music is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. On Aug. 15, gospel music will be provided by the Martin Luther King Choir. A covered dish dinner will be provided for participants. WWHS Class of 1969 — The WWHS Class of 1969 is planning a reunion for Aug. 7. The reunion dinner will take place in the ballroom at the new Moose Lodge on New River Drive. A buffet dinner will be served, a cash bar, and a band will play 1960s-era music. GBHS Class of 1980 — The Gauley Bridge High School Class of 1980 will stage its 30-year reunion on Friday, Sept. 3 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Glen Ferris Inn. Cost will be $30 per person, which will cover Italian buffet, drinks, dessert and a DJ. There will also be a cash bar available. Registration is requested by Aug. 1.
