Following are local anglers recognized in the WVDNR’s February trophy fish citation monthly report:
Michael Petrosky of Mount Hope caught a 41.75-inch, 20.12-pound muskellunge on Feb. 5 in the New River in Summers County.

The 2008 MOCC Kick-Off Classic Co-Ed Softball Tournament will be held April 12-13 at Boomer Ballfield. There will be a $100 entry fee. Softballs will be provided.
Rosters must be submitted no later than Wednesday, April 9 to Nate Kendrick, P.O. Box 114, Smithers, WV 25186, or call 442-8645.
USSSA rules will be followed.

Coaches at the college, high school, junior varsity, junior high and recreational league (adult or youth) levels are urged to submit game results and updated statistics to The Fayette Tribune. Schedules and rosters for the spring seasons can be submitted, as well.

Applications are now being evaluated for the Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp. Boys and girls ages 10-19 are eligible to apply for an invitation. College scholarships are possible for players selected to the All-American team. Camp locations include Blacksburg, Va. There is also a summer camp for boys and girls ages 6-18 of all skill levels.
