The OHHS softball team recently swept a pair of games from Westside. Last Tuesday they beat Westside at Oak Hill, 14-4, and in the nightcap Oak Hill emerged as a 4-3 winner in a game called due to lateness.

On Friday night at Oceana, Oak Hill won another doubleheader. Freshman Erin Wilson, making her first high school start, shut down the Renegades 3-2 with nine strikeouts while yielding only three hits.

Wilson and teammate Sara Baber each went 3-for-4 at the plate. Sara Schoolcraft and Lindsey Smith both contributed a double. Desi Hughes picked up two RBIs while Lindsey Smith drove in one. In the second game, Bobbie Higginbottom fired a six- hitter and the Devils won again, 10-2, by pounding out 13 hits.
