— The Oak Hill Midget Football League will stage another registration session for cheerleaders. This one will be on Saturday, May 17 from 4-6 p.m. at the new fieldhouse. The following ages will apply: A-team — 11-12; B-team — 9-10; C-team — 6-8; and pom-pom — 4-5.
Fee is $35.

The first Gauley Bridge Community Basketball League starts May 13.

Concord University will host the Lady Lions Instructional Basketball Camp June 29 to July 2. The camp is under the direction of Kenny Osborne, CU’s head women’s hoops coach, whose teams have posted back-to-back 20-win seasons.
The camp will be for girls from ages 8 to 18. Cost is $200 for residential campers, and $130 for commuters with no meals (a meal ticket of $40 may be purchased for commuters).
