Oak Hill Kroger raising funds for hospital

On Thursday, Aug. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Oak Hill Kroger will hold a Kiddie Carnival to benefit the WVU Children’s Hospital in Morgantown.

The carnival will include games, prizes, food, music and several prize raffles. In addition, the store will auction off a football signed by WVU coach Dana Holgorsen, with all proceeds going to benefit the Children’s Hospital.

Donations to the hospital in the form of unopened goods like bottles, baby formula, crayons, coloring books and other such items will also be accepted the day of the carnival.

The WVU Children’s Hospital serves over 200,000 inpatient and outpatient children ages newborn to 18 from all over West Virginia and surrounding areas, including those without health care insurance.

Rebecca Hudson, chair of the Cultural Council for Oak Hill Kroger Store #780, says, “We would love for you to come join us in supporting the great work that Children’s Hospital is doing.”
