For Fayetteville, Marcus Lively scored on pass completions covering 60 and 55 yards. Will Fenton completed 12 passes for 250 yards. Dalton Dempsey had 115 receiving yards, and Jordan Dempsey had 40 yards rushing.
Leading the offensive line were Bradon Broach, Sammy Pullens, Casey Shelton and Jacob Cox.
Christian Lively led the defense with two fumble recoveries, and Marcus Lively had an interception.
C.J. Dooley and Micah Bates both contributed 10 tackles.
“It was an entertaining and contested game with Valley forcing six turnovers, including four in the second half,” said FMS coach John Mark Kincaid. “Both teams moved the ball up and down the field but both had several turnovers.”
